Treads freely supported on the outer side, relying only on the central core of the staircase. This feeling of freedom was exactly what was desired for the design of the Light model. It can stand on its own with the simplicity and stability provided by the 50mm tread and the thick core.

The handrail and balustrade present a simple proposal in wood, metal, or a combination of both. Of course, they may not be necessary if we place the staircase inside a “barrel.”

• Central column made of wood
• 50mm thick tread that does not require additional support from spacer blocks between the treads
• Upright in a cross-section of 70x50mm
• Wooden treads with a thickness of 17mm. The number and width of the treads depend on the desired image.
