Freestanding treads supported only by the central core of the staircase. This sense of freedom was exactly what was desired for the design of the Light model. It can stand on its own with the simplicity and stability provided by the 50mm tread and the thick core.

The railing and balustrade offer a minimalist proposal in wood, metal, or a combination of both. Of course, they could be unnecessary if we place the staircase inside a “barrel”.

• Central column made of wood
• 50mm thick tread that doesn’t require additional support from spacers between the treads
• 70x50mm section uprights
• Wooden fascias with a thickness of 17mm. The number and width of the fascias depend on the desired aesthetic.
