This sense of freedom was the desired outcome. The staircase can stand on its own with the simplicity and stability provided by the 50mm treads and its robust core.<\/p>\n<p>The handrail and balustrade present a minimalist proposal in wood, metal, or a combination of both. However, they could also be unnecessary if the staircase is placed inside a &#8220;barrel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical specifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Central column made of wood<\/li>\n<li>Treads with a thickness of 50mm that do not require additional support from risers between the treads<\/li>\n<li>Uprights with a cross-section of 70x50mm<\/li>\n<li>Wooden steps with a thickness of 17mm.
